Hub 4 router doesn’t list devices connected to wifi extender.

Please help. I just installed a wifi extender upstairs and connected my cctv DVR to it by cable. The hub 4 lists the extender as connected to my router wifi and gave it an IP address but hub 4 does not list the DVR as a connected device even though the hub 4 did assigned an IP address to the DVR which I can see in the DVR settings but I can not do port forwarding for the DVR until the hub 4 lists the DVR as a connected device.

any advice please on how to fix this.

Is the extender a VM Pod?  If not the Hub may not be able to access the extender hardware and discover any connected devices.

I would have thought if you know the IP address of the DVR, you should be able to do port forwarding?  Have you tried assigning a Reserved DHCP address?

Thank you. How do I do that if the hub 4 router is not even listing the DVR  as a connected device

For a VM Hub to know what is attached to the Wi-Fi extender, the Wi-Fi extender must be configured so as to passes the DHCP request from the DVR etc back to the VM Hub.

i.e. the Wi-Fi extender must not perform NAT or DHCP or behave like a Router.

Had a quick look at the manual and can't see any way to change the IP addresses to the 192.168.0.xxx range?
