How Desperate Do You Have To Be To get Some Help?
Four days without a working landline now. I have tried explaining how much I rely on my landline - I don't own a mobile or smart phone and it is the only way of contact for me. I am a carer and if I need to call an ambulance I can't pick up the phone, we rely on our weekly deliveries and I haven't been able to order our food this week as my bank has been unable to call me to verify any transactions and I cannot ring my 84yr old mother who lives alone - a nightly ritual to check she is OK that I haven't been able to do for four days now. I have tried ringing from a neighbours phone, going to the call box, shouting for help here and still all I get are questions - what's your email, memorable word, account number, my bill amount, my full name and so many more questions but all I need is some help to fix my landline PLEASE. The person I spoke to on the phone yesterday could have booked a technician for me but fobbed me off that it would be working in 4-6hrs but 20hrs later still my landline is not working and I have no date when it will be fixed. Virgin Media please, I am paying way too much money for this kind of service. I desperately need my landline fixed - please can someone help me ASAP.
