Cable in garden.

Hi

I'm not a Virgin customer, but have found a virgin cable in my garden, buried 2 inches below the surface. (2 inches, would have thought this was illegal H&S etc🤔)

I’m redesigning my garden and need to remove the cable.

just checking there isn’t any power going through it before I cut it.

Thanks

Fred.

If it's a Virginmedia cable, there won't be any significant power in it. But how can you be sure it is one of their cables?

Usual process on here is to post up a photo of the offending cable. When a VM person gets to your post (usually a few days) they will comment.

Normally VM does not remove old cables unless there is a H&S problem. Occasionally, due to the random way VM operates, you may get someone from VM out to deal with it.

If you get a 'no', at least you will have asked the question of VM before you remove it.
