Search domain changed to cable.virginm.net
In the early hours of Apr 14 2025 the search domain of my Pi changed from raspberrypi to raspberrypi.cable.virginm.net This seems a bit odd because I was asleep at this time and of course "cable.virginm.net" is an external host name, not like ".home"/".local" pi@raspberrypi ~ $ cat /etc/resolv.conf [21:50] # Generated by resolvconf domain cable.virginm.net nameserver 127.0.0.1 Closest I can find via search is Local DNS suffix is now cable.virginm.net | Virgin Media Community - 5507800 I know this is a bit vague and there's not much I can find in logs for this, but why would the Virgin router be giving out this search domain?
