Or my 2.5Gb network switch because of this update. Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port Anyone managed to utilise their 2.5Gb port on Hub 5 Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port Any update on this or is everyone still unable to use the 2.5Gb port Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port There must be loads of users with the 2.5G Network switches like myself who are stuck in limbo now. Virgin need to get a grip & get it sorted instead of focusing on updating members of their up and coming price rises Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port Does the hub 5x have the same issue? I have FTTP with just a short coax run to the hub 5 that’s all Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port Maybe virgin could supply me a managed multi gig switch so I can disable this pointless functionallity 🙈 Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port Totally agree. Virgin now offering 2Gb packages on the Hub 5x would make you think the level of testing for this kind of thing a priority. I hope it gets sorted soon Re: Hub 5 update broke 2.5Gbps port These latest firmware updates are so frustrating. My hub 5 has done the same again today. factory resetting the hub every time is not sustainable. also my 2.5Gb DLink network switch is unmanaged so I can’t switch off 802.03az (Energy Efficient Ethernet) why do virgin software developers do this to consumers .
