The issues are with 5x. Even your own engineers cannot resolve the issues, except by giving me new hub 5x's. The hub is not fit for purpose and has been unleashed on an your new customers. I now use my own router, but the 5x cannot be put into modem mode and the settings on it cannot be changed. This means that any server I use cannot be routed to the internet as I cannot port through the 5x to the gateway. You need to have conversations with Sagem to redesign this router. As we have fibre only, there is no alternative unless virgin allow third party routers to connect directly to their network.1.7KViews2likes1CommentRe: Hub 5x Modem Mode
I managed to get Hub 5x into modem mode. It bricked immediately. As this was my 5th in 2 weeks, i dare not change any settings. I bought an Asus router, solving most of my problems, but running Hub 5x with wifi off does cause serious double NAT issues. if Virgin do not sort this out, I will leave them when there is an alternative.
