Installing VM email on Android
Since VM changed their emails to need an underlying external email address, every time you want to connect to an external APP you will need to generate a new password EVEN if you can pick up VM emails in your VM dashboard. A new secure password will be generated for you. Your app password can be used for all apps accessing your Virgin Media mail address. I am struggling as well, i can access my email (via a new gmail ac) and new password on the VM dashboard but trying to re install it on my android is not working. When i use add account on my mobile i get a choice of exchange/google/IMAP or POP3 ..... I used to use IMAP .... but it does not seem to like it, putting it in manually should the server still be imap.ntlworld.com .... i also tried imap.virginmedia.com neither works with the new password set up recently ?2.4KViews0likes0Comments
