SolvedRe: Cable installation - neighbour and property Hopefully am getting this sorted as a VM engineer has been out and located my neighbour’s port on the pavement. He is arranging to have a direct cable connection across his property. My landline is now on your digital network, I need an adapter to connect phone to hub, will the VM engineer have one if I ask him when he comes to connect my neighbour ? thanks… Re: Cable installation - neighbour and property Update, neighbour has moved in and totally agrees with me that VM are in the wrong. He’s had VM engineer out who has located his unused port on the pavement so we’re making progress with a separate connection, just hoping they don’t need to dig my cable up again to rectify matters. SolvedRe: Cable installation - neighbour and property The dual cable is already laid across my lawn, it’s the physical connection from my junction box to their house which hasn’t been done yet. When Avonline relaid my cable after mistakenly cutting it, I didn’t know they replaced it with two cables, one for me and one for next door. I never agreed or was asked about this.
