It should be the norm to give customers the best deal possible, not wait for them to phone and ask for some sort of loyalty bonus. It’s not just Virgin, it’s everyone. The best deals are always reserved for new customers. The true way to create loyalty is to have one price for everyone, and make that the best price you can. Then people won’t swap and change to get the best deal. So I won’t be phoning and begging (sorry - discussing) - Virgin can contact me to offer me a better deal or my custom will go elsewhere Re: Undo delete 360 Once my contract is up I suspect I will leave and just get a broadband deal. Hardly use the box. Everything I watch is on streaming or catch up. Plus I got a great deal joining but know there will be a massive increase when the contract ends. Especially now Virgin don’t have a monopoly on fast internet. Re: Undo delete 360 Yep. I’m new to virgin so also had no choice of the 360. I knew my family had Virgin do presumed that I would have the same functionality as them. In all of the sign up process was any information given that I would not get the same, and that functionality has been reduced (I naively thought I would get better than them). As Virgin has only just been introduced on my street I couldn’t have joined earlier. Really happy with the broadband - now getting 600mb compared to 60mb with Sky (though having to put hub 3 into Modem mode and buy decent quality router and access points but that’s another story) The 360 just seems a backward step compared to Sky Q and even to my families V6 / TiVo boxes. I’m just hoping that it will be fixed with software upgrades (as basically it is a software issue). Re: Undo delete 360 Just don’t feed the troll 👍 Re: Undo delete 360 As has been said above though for various reasons it’s easy because of the interface to accidentally delete. It’s about accidentally deleting or someone else deleting. As has also been said above, its functionality existing customers of Virgin would expect with older boxes and its functionality that people migrating from Sky would expect. It must have been a conscious design decision not to implement it in the 360 and that makes no sense. At least make it an option to set in preferences then everyone can have their choice. Seems simple. Obviously we all try not to delete things we want to keep - that’s fairly obvious and doesn’t need saying, but things happen. Re: Undo delete 360 I’ve just moved from Sky to Virgin, as my family has Virgin with V6 boxes. Really disappointed this isn’t a feature. It was with Sky and is with V6. What a backward step. Is it possible to downgrade to a V6 or TiVo box?
