Many of us including me had no issues until we upgraded the software to 360. All hardware including virgin box stayed the same. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box I figured that. These are all just workarounds to mitigate the issue until it actually gets fixed. How is disabling sound features and settings and connecting your system up in a sub optimal way a "fix". We should be able to use all the options and features to there full without making compromises. Especially when most peoples set ups work completely fine with the exact same hardware and the issues only occurred after a SOFTWARE change when upgrading to 360. I am unable to use all the features of my TV and virgin package because of an issue that you either aren't interested in fixing or can't fix. The fact that this has gone in for so long has become a joke. It's cleary software related as many like myself are using the exact same hardware but have updated our boxes to the 360 software which has then caused the sync issue
