Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box I couldn't get a consistent sync with the 5.1 option so stick to the PCM 2.0 for everything unfortunately. Looking forward to being at the end of my contract. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box I'll try that, thanks. Another option that we should be able to use without issues though. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box For me, the Dolby Audio works fine for the apps on the 360 box (Netflix and Amazon Prime) but not for TV channels (or recordings) passed via HDMI ARC. If it were me, of stock to using the TV's built in apps instead. I also have an issue where Netflix always shows a black screen after a few seconds of starting any stream. I believe this has been documented elsewhere but never fixed. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box I used HDMI ARC with Dolby Audio off for VM 360 box to get audio in sync. Chromecast Ultra works fine with Dolby etc Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box Yes, basically the box can't do Dolby Audio. The option should probably be removed. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box I made 2 complaints which were both closed with no communication and raised 2 complaints about these being closed but they were also closed with no response. This was some time ago. I haven't got the energy to do much more at the moment. I'm really looking forward to the end of my contract. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box Nothing yet but would be a positive thing I guess. Re: Audio Sync problem with new 360 box For me personally, it's easier to switch off Dolby audio and have my audio in sync. If I only consumed media via the 360 box, I would connect it directly to my soundbar via optical. Hopefully it's something that will be fixed in the future. I'll be following this thread with interest though.
