I notice that when it gets ITV1 wrong, it goes to channel 113, which was where Central East SD used to be before Virgin moved it to 103 and it became HD. (We used to get Central West Midlands on 103). As 113 isn't there any more, it goes to the next available channel 114, which is ITV1+1. This suggests that the cube is somehow working from an old channel list, before the names were changed from ITV to ITV1, and the channel numbers were moved. I thought it easier to set up a routine in Alexa, so that when I say "Central" as the command word it follows the instruction "tune to 103 on cable". This works every time. You could do the same for STV, or any other channel. I have written to Amazon to describe the problems TV 360 users are having. They agree that it needs fixing so the correct codes appear when Virgin Media is selected as the receiver, rather than having to set the box as a Pace one, and that the codes need refining. The responses I have suggest that they are keen to make everything work as it should, and as promised in their advertising. If I hear positive news from them, I'll post something here. Hope this helps. Re: Fire TV cube (2022 3rd gen version) Hello. Thanks for your thoughts. You're right. It is all supported, and now works properly. It was just a dodgy HDMI cable. I changed it for a new one. So to sum up, if the box is set up as manufactured by PACE, it seems work perfectly. Everything functions as it should from the cube remote, or as voice command. You just need to say "On cable" after the channel name. Eureka! Cheers. Re: Fire TV cube (2022 3rd gen version) Hello. It's a Sony STRDN 1080AV receiver. This switched off randomly when changing channels. The cable box is an Arris DCX960. This is the one that I've set up as PACE in the cube to get voice control to work. Voice control will power this box on and off too. Cheers. Re: Fire TV cube (2022 3rd gen version) Hello. Try going through the procedure, but tell the Cube that your box is a PACE receiver. After the eighth or so "try again" , channel up will work. You can then use voice commands to change channels etc... . The channel names refer to the full shared programme list, so it won't get the right channels if your box is on a personal list. If you use your personal profile list, say the channel number. However, on my system, I find that when the cube switches the cable channel, it will switch my receiver off sometimes. Hopefully there's a fix for this to be discovered. My box is actually an Arris box, upgraded from the old system to TV360. It's clearly not ideal, but does show that the system can work, if Amazon put the correct codes in the "Virgin media" section. Here's hoping. Re: Fire TV cube (2022 3rd gen version) Hello, I"ve got the new Fire TV cube too. Similarly, I haven't got it to work with the TV 360 box. My cube does show an option for Virgin Media in the devices list though. I have tried this, but it doesn't control the box. I'm hoping that since the option appears in the list, that Amazon intended it to function, and ultimately it will have to operate as advertised. Maybe I'm being over optimistic. Incidentally, I have a (failing) Harmony remote control. To get this to control the TV 360 box it is set up as Ziggo Mediabox Next. I believe that there are Arris and Humax codes that also work on Harmony remotes. I tried to set up the 360 box with the Fire TV Cube by calling it Arris, Humax and Ziggo, but none of these options worked either. I'd be interested to know if anyone has managed to get it to work, and how. Here's hoping.
