Since they tried to fix it overnight midnight to 6am , even current emails are not available to send or receive. Let alone the last 15yrs of emails. It feels like they all down tools at weekends. And ignore the fact that there is no email functionality whatsoever on Saturdays or Sundays . The message at the top of this thread says that all customers can now send and receive. That is not the case . Since they tried to restore emails overnight there is now no ability to send or receive. I can still see the emails from 19th June in my inbox though. Looks like it has been down all weekend. Virgin - please send out another update and warn us if you are working on it and it will be down. The assurances that you have our historic emails safe are welcome! Keep them coming (or by other means if the email is down ! Eg by message when we 'run a test' on the outtages page) .People seriously panicking and losing money out here . I am very curious as to why my sent box is not counting any of the messages sent since 19th June in numerical form. It used to say 14 sent messages etc , now it has no number. Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 Thanks for the update. I'd had an email from Virgin to say it would be fixed by 6am but I have now got intermittent email and still no historic emails. Virgin - Please send another email update if there are delays or further issues as its difficult to keep checking here . Would really love to know what the problem is with the historic emails. And whether VIrgin will be compensating customers who are getting really worried as to where their historic emails have gone for weeks and whose hands they are in . Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 Oh yes. I am now starting to receive some emails from today only. Like HG65 says, some them are coming in over and over again. All the older emails have vanished 😮 Its 1am and I hope they come back soon as there is one from last week I need to access and reply to. Fingers Crossed. Must be quite a backlog now to send out I suppose. I got an email from Virgin saying old emails are stored safely and will be restored when the fault is fixed. Reassuring. Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 I know there is an outtage, but one of the status messages said that it would be fixed by 7.30pm but now that message has gone and there is no email error message showing. Does that mean that the email is fixed? Mine is not working . Its taking me to a page to "unlock my Virgin Media Mail account". And update password etc. Is that something we should do to restore emails? Or is it a glitch , and we just need to wait? Are engineers working through the night (or should I just go get some sleep ?)
