Checked freeview on TV and working fine which suggests it’s an issue with Virgin Media 360 signals for these channels. Unwatchable at the moment and no issue previously on V6 boxes prior to switchover to 360. Anyone else having these issues in Edinburgh area? Re: Re-contract email I thought I was still in contract as I had a £20 discount until 11/24. Transpires I was out of contract. Anyway managed to eventually speak to a helpful member of VM retentions team who managed to keep us as a customer for another 18 months by changing our package to an improved version at £75 per month. Son who is also a VM customer & coming to the end of his contract also got the same deal although his was less as has only one box. I also had an issue with one of the V6 boxes and an engineer has since replaced with a new one. It pays to persevere but you shouldn’t have to go through this hassle for a 20 years + customer. On call for an hour to a non UK call centre. I’m out of contract pay £95.55 and have £20 discount until November. Any new deal advised to me more expensive. So false advertising regarding exclusive deal. Think I may move provider or scale back to broadband only even reducing from 500mb to 125 or 250. Plenty offers out there for Now TV which I had in the past and we have Netflix/ Amazon. Over to you Virgin if you want to retain the business. V6 box issues We have 2 V6 boxes one in living room and one in bedroom. The one in the living room has recently been playing up with channels going blank then displays an error code V53 message. Eventually comes back on when I reboot but this is now happening daily or sometimes a few times a day. No issues with V6 box in bedroom. Anyone else having issues of a similar nature or is it perhaps time for the box to be replaced? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
