Payment due 18 Dec. Collection 7 Dec. Re: Virgin are making it impossible to cancel! Been with my new Provider a couple of months now and very happy after the terrible exit from VM. But VM continue to make life difficult, they sent a packing for the equipment that was too small. Request further packing twice which is yet to arrive. They contacted me a couple of days ago to say they are going to collect it, I agreed a date. Now they today have sent me my account which they are going to take payment for the equipment. What a shambles this company is. Re: Virgin are making it impossible to cancel! @julesbolton I think those are the ways people like myself have tried to use and failed. This thread is now 5 pages long. Have you the power to get the systems working? Re: I'm leaving VM after 34 years! I thought most of us had learnt not to use our internet providers e-mails and set up Gmail or similar to make changing Provider very simple. As re guarding to changing to Open Reach and City Cable etc remember the other popular Providers offer their services through them, I choose ZEN because of UK customer services with phone numbers and e-mail to them, so ar the end of contract I can choose different if I wish. Re: Virgin are making it impossible to cancel! Well first I have transferred to another Provider and the 30 days ended just a couple of days ago. I had difficulty cancelling and my problem is repeated here in the forum over and over again. I do not have What's App. I'm 85 and not a teenager. I'm only hanging on in case further payments are taken from me as this forum is the only means VM have to make contact for me. Thank you. Re: Virgin are making it impossible to cancel! As VM is supposed to be be an up to date communication company how often we are asked to use old fashioned letter post. Re: City Fibre - up and running @nodrogd You mention Traditional broadcasting of TV and I see you use Freeview and Freesat. I too can get both but have ditched Freeview and use Freesat due to better organised ch numbers and a great number of ch in HD. I feel it won't be long before Freeview closes. TV through the internet will be the future, not sure what will the future is for Dish reception, but Sky does both now. Re: Pricing Increase Notification If you look at the second post from @R_Lee you will see it was resolved for OP in a PM. This the problem when things go into PMs we are all denied knowing if this would help us all. Re: Virgin are making it impossible to cancel! I got confirmation messages, If you haven't assume you failed to cancel I would say. One message giving date of phone turn off. The other confirming the end of 30 day notice and saying I'm paid up and no more to pay.
