"Further to my update earlier in the week, I wanted to let you know that our teams are still working to fully restore your historic emails. Unfortunately, confirming a specific resolution date is taking longer than expected, but we will be in touch again early next week to provide further information and a timeframe." Just seen this BS on Twitter, in a response to someone that said their email wasn't working this morning: " We have now restored the ability to send and receive emails for all affected accounts. Our teams are continuing to work flat out to restore historic emails into the inboxes of a small proportion of accounts. Just received this email: "Your email service will be unavailable between midnight tonight and 6am tomorrow morning while we carry out essential work to your services. During this time, you will be unable to access your email account, but we should have you back up and running again early tomorrow morning." Anyone else get the horrible feeling that all the old emails and folders will never be recovered now? VM have not said a word about what's going on, both here and on social media, all they do is copy & paste the same meaningless message over and over again. No matter what you ask on Twitter, this is the same response everyone gets every time: "We're aware of an issue that is affecting our Virgin Media email service for customers. Our teams are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and we apologise for the inconvenience caused" That's it, that's all they've said for the past 24 hours!
