Re: Virginmedia credibility Thank you. I’m so frustrated I have had two price increases in 12 months. The option now is to go to Ofcom and the ombudsman. Communication with Virgin Media is so difficult. Regards John Virginmedia credibility I have finally decided enough is enough and I am intending not renewing my contract in August. £92.40/month is excessive for an 80year old and cannot be justified. All the fun and trust of having the Virgin Media service has well and truly gone. I understand your terms and conditions for not renewing is 30-day notice. I am now giving notice that I will not be renewing my contract. Re: Leaving Virgin Media Thank you so very much I am grateful. Johnpitt2 Re: Leaving Virgin Media Hi Steven_L When I sent my original email I was very frustrated because I will end up with a price increase next year meaning two increases in the same contract period. Putting all that aside I want to be more positive. So that I don't have to cancel my contact next year. what options are available to me so that I keep enjoying Virgin media into the future. Thanks Steven for letting me have a bit of a rant. Regards Johnpitt2 Re: Leaving Virgin Media Thank you so much for your kind reply. I will probably not leave Virgin Media until the end of my current contract. I have no intention of going the stress of contacting them again. Regards Johnpitt2 Leaving Virgin Media I have now decided to leave Virgin Media. I am using this forum because trying to communicate with the company is stressful. I have now looked at customer comments and reading Ofcom news I now feel I am not on my own feeling so disappointed at the integrity and service provided. I have been with Virgin Media for 20+ years. I renewed my contract earlier this year and within one month there was £10.00 increase, this should have been factored in before the contract was renewed. Although I am retired, I will serious consider going back into sales working for Virgin Media competitors. Regard JohnP SolvedRe: Seriously miss sold a new contract Thank you japitts your information is correct I’m happy if I can agree £75 for the new package and no increase in the cost for 2024 regards John
