i have infact tried this i took this matter to TomsHardware Forums since there is some pretty good network savy people over there and they are absolutely stumped by this matter. There is a bunch of people convinced over there that this ISP have some kinf of whitelist or block against these games specific networks and whatever the issue is it's thier end now mine. This issue has persisted for years for me since i was on the HUB 3, i then upgraded to the hub 4 and now im on the HUB 5 1 GIG. I have even built 2 entirely seperate PC's while on the HUB 5 and the issue is the same. I replaced every single component of my PC, i have had virgin come out and replace every single piece of hardware their end right down to the box on the outside of the house. I have had network engineers come out and correct the frequencies of all the houses in my area since they wasn't correctly set up to support 1gig. This is virgin medias issue. Glad your issue is fixed, seems like your issue wasnt the same problem im describing though. So had an engineer come out on November 7th thankfully he was a pc gamer himself so he knew how annoying this issue was and actually took it seriously unlike the previous 3 or 4 I’ve had come out who just replace the router and think that’s job done. He had the smart idea of saying to try launching a game wirelessly rather than Ethernet. So I did and to my surprise it actually worked so he said looks like you have a faulty Ethernet cable. I was like yep seems that way so I went straight online ordered a CAT7 Ethernet cable and just today I set it up due to the release of Delta Force (one of the games I was having this issue with during the test). I booted the game on my new Ethernet aaaand the exact same issue. Discord disconnects, Steam goes down, can’t google anything, but it still says I’m online according to the task bar. so to sum up, I’ve had 3 routers changed, the outside box thing replaced the inside box thing replaced, the cable that goes from that box to the router replaced, I’ve built a new pc which consisted of Motherboard, ram, CPU, GPU, new M.2’s. The only thing I didn’t change was the case. The last thing of my own hardware that it could have been, the Ethernet cable, I also replace and still it’s not working. I have now come full circle I’ve done seemingly absolutely everything and once again the only thing that I can find of any consistent of anyone else on this planet having the same problem as me happen to be in Virgin media. Hmm it might be the same I’m not very knowledgable on networking stuff all I know is that it’s only when booting a game up and initially connecting to the servers that it stops my pc from being connected to the internet. hello could you please get back to me as soon as regarding this issue im sorry i never saw your PM as i really dispise coming to this website since its usually because something wrong as per usual and im getting beyond fed up with this company. i didnt try the beta but im currently getting it with the full release i have to sit on the menu for a few minutes while it crashed my internet then i can finally play. are you also getting it with the full release?660Views0likes0Comments
