(1) the refresh circular arrows, (2) the question mark for queries (3) the 'cog wheel' (this is the 'settings') Click on this, and a screen opens with list of settings on the left. 4th line down is marked 'E-mail' Click on the arrow at the left side of the email wording, this brings up a page with 3 headings, (1) Vacation notice' (2) Auto Forward. This is the one you want. Click on this icon, and a popup box appears with the following dialogue box' Fill in the forwarding address for your mail and 'apply changes'. This should solve your problem. Hope this helps. Virmin Media email, DOWN AGAIN As per title. Tried to log in on three different machines, and each one gives the now familiar This site can’t be reached mail.virginmedia.com took too long to respond. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT Tried three times in the last hour or so, still get the same message. Re: phone calls from (VM apparently) probably scams? And another 2 this morning (so far!) similar number, but a foreign male this time, same story. Number was a mobile again, : 0794637xxxx (last 4 digits slightly different from previous, but similar) Yet another nuisance call!! Reported to ICO, (not that they DO anything!) phone calls from (VM apparently) probably scams? OK, so, had 3 phone calls today so far, from this number, and a foreign female stating 'she was calling from Virgin Media with regards to my account, and needed to verfiy my account' Now she didn't ask for anyone by name, or give any details about the account. Initially I was very wary of her, and refused to continue the conversation, and hung up. She called again a few moments later, and repeated the same dialogue, but I again hung up without answering this time. Persistant, she then called again 5 minutes later, and tried again. Again I didn't engage with her, and hung up. Obviously a scam, as VM don't call customers!! Number was a mobile, : 0794637xxxx [Mod - number edited in case innocent number being spoofed] Re: emails not arriving?? And, a week later..... No replies, as assume VN not interested. Apparently there are others suffering the same problem, yet... Nothing from VM in any shape or form. Basically, not interested, and staff hope we will just 'fade away' and leave the staff in peace!! Re: emails not arriving?? sort currently as its always been set, ie 'Date', & 'Descending', as per your screenshot. checked previously just to be sure, and again now. VM useless, as usual. Thankfully I can access using Outlook, otherwise, stuffed!! Re: emails not arriving?? Set as imap, as has always been. Re: emails not arriving?? No message Carley, Can log into the account, and into email, but it doesn't show any new emails from Sunday evening onwards, just the ones up until 9pm Sunday. Outlook shows several new ones, that haven't appeared in the VM mail. Nothing settings wise has changed, just stopped updating for some reason. emails not arriving?? so, today, not able to access emails from the webpage? Using Outlook, they are there in my inbox, yet on the VM site... nothing since yesterday. Once again, VM mail not fit for purpose. suspicious email from 'VM' is it geniune? received this email this morning. Seems a bit suspicious, so have NOT clicked on any links, just viewed the content. What do I need to do? Click here to log in to My Virgin Media and request your update. Alternatively, you can visit the ‘Apps and Games’ section on your current TV box and select the ‘Upgrade now’ app. Simply follow the steps on the screen. We’ll send you a new 360 remote, and an ‘Install now’ app will appear to help you finish setting things up. Here’s how it works We can’t transfer your recordings and settings when you switch to 360, so make sure you watch the shows you need to before you hit that button. You can still watch many of them on Catch Up or On Demand (depending on which TV pack you have). Watch our handy video on how to complete the upgrade, here.
