I'd forgotten we had to supply a non VM email address and as I have just found out that is what you use to login now. after that it worked ok. Thanks for the replies, Re: How do I access my secondary emails via Virginmedia webmail? Ah ok. Thankyou. Re: How do I access my secondary emails via Virginmedia webmail? To the OP. I just noticed add email account at the bottom left of screen. Seems a bit obvious but thats how you add a secondary account using the original secondary email password not the ones with loads of hyphens for third party apps. Re: How do I access my secondary emails via Virginmedia webmail? I have exactly the same issue as the OP who is talking about using webmail not third party email clients. Re: Can't log in to account anymore Thank you, chatgpt just suggested the same. Unfortunately there is no Skip or not now option displayed. When i put my 100% correct email addy in I'm told it not invalid. Can't log in to account anymore As above, I wanted to check a secondary email account on webmail so logged out. Now I can't log back in again. the login page is different with the VM-O2 logo and asks me to register or login. I don't have any O2 stuff and when I input my correct primary email address the system tells me it is not recognised. I was only in the account half an hour ago. Could any of the mods please help. Thanks SolvedRe: Renewal Offer via Email Queries Based on the experience of many others I would ring them rather than rely on the email route. You're in pole position regards negotiating, I'd wait until you are just within the month to end of contract. Re: Getting your contract negotiated to a competitive price has become impossible. Im off I was in a similar position recently, though I have 2 BB connections with different suppliers and wanted to retain a backup if possible. I also like a record option so I looked at SKY and EE. I didn't fancy a dish much so EE were the favourite but in the end VM made me a pretty decent offer to stay so I did. I would wait until you have less than 30 days remaining on your contract then ring retentions. Just say you have plenty of other options and what can they do for you to stay with them. If you quote them prices of other suppliers they'll know you have done your homework and mean business. Re: Getting your contract negotiated to a competitive price has become impossible. Im off In particular VM's e-mail service which they are rumored to be in the process of winding down. New customers don't get the option of a VM e-mail addy which in my opinion is a bullet dodged. Re: Getting your contract negotiated to a competitive price has become impossible. Im off All fair points BaronVS, I too have had cable services forever (94-95 ish) and was fully expecting to leave recently but very unexpectedly got a decent offer from offshore retentions to renew so I'm stuck for at least another 18 months. As you accurately describe the communication process is sketchy and unreliable to say the least and good luck getting to speak to a UK based advisor. In addition as you also note this forum is the one decent access point left to get anything sorted. I wouldn't worry about losing the e-mail facility, I suspect it will be gone before too long for everyone and no great loss really, especially after the debacle of a year or so ago. Good luck with the shiny new connection.
