Software Update 5.19
Hot on the heels of the 5.18 update, 5.19 has begun to roll out. When clicking on the What's New menu item, a box appears now with minimal info along the lines of - this update contains bug fixes, stability and security improvements - or words to that effect. There appears to be some minor changes since I received the 5.18 software update a few weeks ago. The QR code that appeared on the home screen has gone and the box no longer starts on the home screen, rather on the last channel watched. This is an improvement. I was getting irritated by the extra clicks involved in getting from the home screen to the channel I wanted to watch. This was usually the last channel viewed. The QR link would have mainly been useful to anyone unfamiliar with the 360 interface.450Views0likes3CommentsSoftware Update Version 5.18
It looks like version 5.17 has been skipped this time. With the new 5.18 update, the box starts up on the home screen rather than the last channel watched. There is a QR code there that when scanned links to a page about the changes that have been made, although this is not very informative. If this was a proper changelog it would be much better, but it's a step in the right direction, I guess. Maybe there are more changes in this update, but I have yet to find any.816Views1like8Comments
