I explained this in the phone call. I'd really like to know where this email is that they said they'd send or were they just fobbing me off ? Either way my present contract ends on 4th November so I need to ring up and cancel next Friday. I am presently looking for another provider that offers broadband only if Virgin can't help. I'm really not bothered about the TV as I only watch the Freeview channels. Still can't log in to webmail I was on the phone earlier for 50mins about another problem and they told me they were sending me an email which I haven't received on my mobile phone or Desktop. When I try signing in to webmail they keep telling me that my username or password is wrong and I have tried all different combinations including the secondary email address and password that was allocated and nothing works. How is it that I am signed in to my email using my phone and Desktop but can't sign into webmail ? More importantly where has the email I was promised gone ?? I don't want to click on 'forgotten password' on the webmail in case it stops me from getting them on my phone etc but I can't think where this email they have sent me could be unless it is stuck in webmail.. Re: How To Cancel Virgin Media What happens if you don't have a contract number? Re: No incoming or outgoing mail since 15/04/24 Me too, exactly the same message as you get PaulP5402. Just been to settings on webmail and under my ntl email address it says: External email is only aggregated when you are logged into Webmail. What does that mean ?? I don't want to log into webmail every day just to see if I have any emails especially having to remember the ridiculous passwords with the dashes we have to remember now. The email programme on the PC remembers the password even when you've turned the computer off . Also in the Webmail settings there is no mention of a password under " Security " but they want you to list all other personal details like address and phone number, they've no chance. They even have Contacts in my address book whom I've never heard of, Banks I've never used . I've just had to go through them and delete a load. Some of them might have even been scammers for all I know !! Just seen a message on this forum where it wouldn't let me reply because I didn't click a link in an email. What email?? How am I supposed to know I have an email from Virgin Media when they won't let me see them ? So no more DD information, no correspondence whatsoever from Virgin because it's not downloading to NTL inbox.. Problem is my Hospital appointments are also sent to this email address. Can't send emails that I have to send every month to various people.. Virgin Media have become abysmal.to say the least. All this rubbish started when they joined up with O2. Re: Virgin have changed my Contract Well that turned out to be no help at all. Got passed on to John who told me because I didn't have the new landline having Mixit TV would mess up the system . This sounds like a load of rubbish especially as the Maxit TV includes the Mixit version, you just block the other channels. When I received the email about the change in the Landline it only said that you wouldn't be able to use it anymore, not once did it say anything about Maxit, I was never informed of this! Now I'm looking to leave at the end of this contract but I'm seeing so many horror stories on here from people trying to leave and problems they are having. I've even found another Internet provider offering 1,000 mbps for only £12per month for the first 6mths then £32.40 with no mid contract price rises!!!! I have 2 freeview recorders, an Mbox and Webos. So I don't actually need any TV from Virgin. I can only hope leaving at the beginning of November goes smoothly after 30 days prior notice. Re: Virgin have changed my Contract Thans Lee, I have sent you a PM. Virgin have changed my Contract Back in February 2023 I was given an 18-month contract for M125 internet, Mixit TV and landline which I don't have any more. Back in May I suddenly had all these extra channels and thought it was because of the King's Coronation. As time went on I realised that my landline was dead and this must be the reason for the extra stations until my contract finished. I have just received an email for an offer only to realise that they have changed my package to Maxit TV even though my contract was for Mixit. They even have the Tivo box that I have as the 360 and it isn't. They also say that my bill will go up to £72, also different to what it says on the contract. I want to remain on the Mixit I don't want or need all these extra channels !! Solved
