Re: Comment on Windows 11 your experience Here's Possibly Why Windows 11 is Breaking SSDs! The above video suggests that it may be older hardware without a firmware update that is causing problems. Re: Unable to link ‘Virgin Media’ account to ‘VM 02 ID’ I can't complete the 2FA process due to being one of those odd people who don't like mobile phones or passkeys. I have no idea what to do to proceed. My current PC is 9 years old, unable to accept Windows 11 (with some broken USB ports due to overuse, so no passkey). Re: Comment on Windows 11 your experience Windows 11 doesn't like my hardware and FM2+ AMD boards aren't supported, despite having TPM2.0 headers for a small daughterboard. Re: Heads Up! Microsoft Account bricked my sister's laptop Right, some follow up with this: Today I decided to setup my own Microsoft Account; guess what? Making the fataI mistake I made with my sister's laptop; I bricked my desktop! There is however, some good news! Fortunately I have the W10 installation disk, which was a Godsend. I had setup MA to send me a code to my email address (big no no) and since I couldn't log in, got caught in a loop. I got into the recovery bit and chose Repair PC. This took several hours and has just finished. The MA was deleted and unlinked from my LUA (Local User Account). This took several hours and has just finished. Not sure if this method would've worked back then. Unfortunately during this process, connecting to my Virgin Media account has become a casualty, as I couldn't complete the 2FA process. Emails are working fine, though.
