Disconnected, except I'm not Hi all - we were supposed to be disconnected from VM yesterday, but the broadband's still on and so was the Tivo box when I checked this morning. I've been connected to the broadband today as a) I forgot, b) it seems too much faff to mess about with other options - will VM want to charge me for this? Shambles. Re: Complaint web chat? Thanks jpeg1. My father-in-law seems to have been bullied into accepting a stupidly expensive contract when he was seriously ill last year. He was ashamed of this and didn't fully let us in on what had happened until recently. He died last week. I'll obviously be advising my mother-in-law on where to put her TV/broadband contract money going forward, but VM shouldn't be allowed to do his, and my folks-in-law are significantly out of pocket as a result. PS I found the web chat button, which didn't appear on my Firefox browser for some reason (but did on Chrome). Re: Tivo and broadband Thanks japitts - I hadn't realised there were 2 forums for "TIVO" boxes. Your comment "This is ideally over Ethernet cable but can be wireless", which i think another poster also says above, implies that the correct deployment of a V6 box would also include a cable to hook the thing up then? So switching from TIVO to V6 (sold as an "upgrade") is actually likely a downgrade for any streaming services if the V6 is used over Wifi?
