Re: IPv6 support on Virgin media You may find the concern was not to do with the fibre ‘snapping’ but for the attenuation and distortion caused by macrobending and microbending of the fibre in the small radius turns. Re: IPv6 support on Virgin media The Iceland website didn’t work/was blocked via the HE tunnel on Tuesday, but a quick email fixed that. Other services have followed and also have geolocation related logic which often leads to sites thinking you are US,… Since getting the geolocation database in my last post updated, Netflix works fine over my HE tunnel, tested with IPv4 disabled. Surprise, surprise (not), my HE 6in4 tunnel now consistently gives close to IPv4 speeds (I am on 500 Mbit service, not GigaBit [yet]) So, at least in my case, the problem was most definitely the old generation VM hardware (SuperHub 3 and Hitron). I am, for now, a (relatively) happy bunny. Excellent. Does the Chita unit still have the ability to do the GRE tunnel for static IPs? I'm afraid we don't have any information we can share regarding the implementation of IPv6 on our network at the moment. We’re in the process of finalising our plans for IPv6 deployment and will provide an update at the appropriate time. Thanks, Rachael Thank you for replying. I am going to re-test after 29/10 as there are code updates to some of the CBRs due then, although that may be for a different reason... reading further into some of the recent fixes released into the code, it may have something to do with IPv6. Hmmm I wonder.
