So moved into a new house and have built a media wall and hidden the virgin media box within the new wall. I’m guessing the V6 remote works by infrared which is why it won’t now work. Any options for me to get this working, tried phoning Virgin to see if there was an option of a Bluetooth remote but person on the phone was adamant that it was an issue with this remote and has sent a new one. New one doesn’t work either?

You should be able to get the V6 remote to work in RF mode by following the instructions below.
1. Press the Channel Down button on
the front of the Virgin TV V6 box for
10 seconds.
2. Then, hold the Info button down on the
remote for 7 seconds.
3. The light in the top of the remote will
flash green twice.
4. Your remote is now paired, so it'll work
even if your box is hiding in a cupboard.
