Upgrade to TV360 for Sky Sports+

Had the email about upgrading my V6 Box to TV360 due to the new Sky Sports+ channel.

New remote is being sent out this week but there's no upgrade option on my V6 box, despite numerous reboots.

Online chat agent said he'd do it remotely but nothing has happened.

Anyway else been through this? Does the upgrade option appear once the remote is sent out?

You need to wait for the 360 remote to arrive before doing the 'upgrade' so you can pair the remote to the box. Make sure you watch all your recordings because the hard drive gets wiped before the new software is loaded and make a note of any series links you have so you can reset your series links as and when they appear on the EPG. Once you receive your remote the 'update' should appear on your box and you will have 5 days to watch any recordings you haven't watched before the box 'updates' automatically.

Sorry to hear of the confusion with your upgrade to TV360. 

As @roy247 has very kindly supported already, you'll need to wait for the remote before you can upgrade the set top box. Keep us posted should you've any further issues once the remote arrives and we can support further if you need.

I think the confusion lies in the email wording and also the linked YouTube guide.

The instructions imply that the upgrade option should be in the Home section of the EPG (i.e., it should be there as soon as you reboot the V6 box after getting the email), but nowhere does it say you have to wait for the new remote to be sent out before the upgrade option appears.

The actual upgrade software appears in the apps section, have you checked there?
