No, but yeah, but... TV connection

I recently upgraded to 1GB broadband and installed the new router. Great, except now my TV box says there's no connection (N27) but there is, as I can watch any TV channel, I just don't get the menu. Firestick works too. I've followed all the suggestions, but none worked. Perhaps the TV box is faulty? I've had it a while... any one else had this issue? Has anyone any suggestions before I get on the phone?

Live TV channels are broadcast channels & are tuned directly from the cable by your TV box. N27 is no internet connection to your hub. This is required for everything except live TV (Guide data, authentication, apps, on demand, firmware & NIT updates). If were previously using Wi-Fi to connect your TV box to your router you will need to give the TV box the Wi-Fi SSID & password used by the new router.

Thanks, nodrogd. The TV is connected via the Virgin cable and to the router via WiFi. I was able to watch all TV channels, as well as Firestick stuff, but the Tivo was showing error N27, and the home screen of the TV on Virgin was giving error code N230. I called Virgin via 150 and several options later, was able to speak to a very helpful person. As I had spent so long following all the troubleshooting advice for both error codes (twice), I made it clear that I was reluctant to do so again. This was understood, and I was only asked to reboot once, whilst checks were made. In the end, a new Tivo 6 box was sent out and since installation, everything is working as it should.

The older TiVo did not have WiFi and used the co-ax for the internet connection.

nodrogd's advice is valid for the V6
