Faulty remote problem replacing

I have a problem with my current remote for my v6. A few of the buttons aren't registering and the volume down is very intermittent.

I have tried to order a new one on the website but it tells me that as I have had a free replacement remote in the last 12 months it will cost me £9.99.

I have had no replacement remote in my recent memory, certainly not in the last 12 months.

Is this normal procedure?

I've got exactly the same problem - I've been going round in circles trying to solve this and then I got the same message as you that I have had a free replacement in the last 12 months and it will cost me £9.99.

I too have had no replacement to my knowledge - I have two remotes as I have two boxes.  

If we all paid £9.99 they would be laughing all the way to the bank.  I am more than a bit miffed 11
