Tivo transfer/download

Hello,

Is it possible to transfer what you have recorded on your Tivo box to another device (Laptop, USB)? How would you do that? I checked other threads but could not find an answer.

If you have one of the older TiVO boxes you can link it to a DVD recorder via the VCR SCART on the back. There is no copy facility available on the TiVO V6 box. Be aware copying will only be in real time & in 240 line analogue (VCR standard) quality. Recordings are digitally encrypted on the HDD to stop high quality pirate copies being made. Remember, the box is rented, so strictly speaking you have no rights regarding the recorded material on the box.
