Virgin have the Stream box which uses the internet (either by a wired ethernet connection to your VM hub or by wifi) to stream the TV channels and apps so it does not require connecting to the white coaxial cable. It also needs to be connected to your TV via an HDMI cable.
You can't have a Stream box with any other VM TV set top boxes, so if you have a tivo you would need to cancel that first before signing up for the Stream box.
