VERIFY A FIELD SALES ADVISOR

Hi

I've had a field sales advisor come to my house and would like to verify this person if this is possible? As I'd like to sign up to virgin media but what with all these scammers nowadays I'd like to be certain.

If you could get back to me that would be great, thank you!

Take your time to order a service on the VM website. This avoids risk of being scammed at the front door by a here today, gone forever salesman and avoids being pressured to make an instant decision by the telephone sales team.

Also, be aware that these 'doorstep salesmen' often offer 'too good to be true' offers in an attempt to get you to sign, only for you too find out later that the offer doesn't exist, except in the mind of the 'seller'  (even if he/she IS a VM 'salesperson) Been there, fought the battle with VM over the salespersons 'offer' and what was actually sold compared to the 'very special offer' this person made up!!

He left me his card with his mobile number and name and I said I'd call him to arrange an appointment when convenient for me. Well he came around this evening at 5.30🤔 I was about to have my dinner. I said I'm doing it online and thanks for your time. And he was like 'your joking, can't you do it through me!?' I politely said still doing it online to which he just turned round and left without another word said.. And didn't shut the gate. Anyways thanks for the advice.
