I recently received the following email:
We’re getting in touch to let you know about the changes we’re making for additional account users who access My Virgin Media.
We’ve identified you as being an additional My Virgin Media account user. We’re letting you know that we’ll stop supporting your online account on 06/12/2024.
This feature is being removed to improve account security, as part of our commitment to keep our online spaces safe and secure.
The point is, I am the account holder so why would my account access be disabled? How do I fix this?

@DiscoSausage Have you created any additional My Virgin Media accounts on your primary account since May 2022? I believe that it is these accounts that are being closed.

Hi Graham
I had my son as an additional account user but that was setup several years ago and he hasn't used it for more than two years. I just checked in my account under additional users and he's still there, so I've deleted him. The email address associated with his account was different to the one I use for logging into the main account. The email I received as an 'additional user' was sent to the account holders email (me). So I'm not sure what's going on?
