Hi, I need some help please. Over the Christmas period I tried to watch freeview using my TV aerial, only to find out that the virgin engineer who fitted the media has taken away the terrestrial tv aerial. Can you tell me what I need to do now to get someone to reinstate it? Thank you

Did the VM technician use the hole through the wall previously used for the Freeview aerial? Can you see the end of a cut cable outside?

Hi, yes it was an indoor aerial.

Hi, no I can't see it has been cut, I think we have an indoors aerial, not been in the property that long so hadn't noticed. I took the virgin plate off the wall and have attached a photo of what is behind it.
can't see my aerial anywhere.

It would be astonishing if he removed your indoors TV aerial as that's theft. Have another look in case it's on the floor, otherwise VM had better reimburse you as you can file a case with the small claims court.

Hi Sarah64
Thank you for your post. I'm so sorry to hear you believe that one of our engineers has taken your indoor aerial. I have sent you a private message so I can take your details and investigate this with the Field Team.
Please look out for my message at your inbox on the forums.
Thank you

It reminds me of VM's installation at my previous house where the VM engineer deliberately severed the external brown RF Coax TV aerial cable. He also replaced the faceplate on the master BT phone socket with a VM one. I can only imagine the thinking was that I would henceforth be irrevocably tied to VM.
