My street, along with many streets in the area were cabled several years ago. All of the other streets have since gone live, including streets that lead on from mine.
The cables have been in place, with the little plastic cover points for years now. Feels like a bit of a waste to have the cable right outside and not be able to use it?
Any info would be appreciated.
regards Chris

1) Abandoned build is not unusual if something has gone wildly over budget due to unforeseen circumstances.
2) Just because there is ducting there does not mean that cabling is present. Service cables are not installed between the cabinet & a customer until they take the service. It might be that a cabinet is missing, or if it is there it may be empty.
In any case you can still request staff here send a spotter to confirm if the address is serviceable. One of them should respond here is a couple of days.
