Wired booster box problem, no power light on. Hence its not working

I managed to eventually contact some one on Thursday 8th February to report the faulty box. They were certain that it was a network problem and would monitor my internet for the next 24 hours. Now, I may be missing the point, but if a mains powered wired booster no longer has lights on, that by the way, it has had for the last 2 years. That may seem to the casual observer to be knackered.

Subsequently I have not been contacted after the 24 hour period to see if my problem has gone ( hardly likely to do that).

Can someone from Virgin please contact me to send me a new unit. It will be on my record when I had it and what model it was. I await your reply

Thanks

What "box" is it ?

A Pod or an old booster ? One of VM's I assume... not your own one ?

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Glad to hear that you have got this resolved kevthegas 👍

Its a fairly old VM wired booster box, wired into the hub, it has no power. The wi fi booster that is in my outbuilding does show signs of life but obviously will not connect to the dead box indoors. VM are supposed to be sending as new one. Not heard of an arrival date from them yet though . I think I may contact VM to ask for a progress report
