Virgin have put me on a new 18 month contract without my consent

I can't believe I'm back here again.

I moved home in the summer and was told that as I was moving areas I would have to sign a new contract, but not to worry. A discount was to be applied to make it the price I was paying before and it would expire in May 2024 as my previous contract was due to.

This discount was never applied and for months I was charged a higher amount than agreed with Virgin Media ignoring me every step of the way. Eventually, the complaint was resolved.

Naturally, my concern was mainly about being charged double. However, now it's all sorted, my attention turned to finding out the exact day of the month I can give my notice to leave Virgin Media. I pull my contract up, and realise that they started me on a whole new 18 month contract for the crime of moving house - apparently now I'm stuck until 2025. This was not what was agreed.

Please can an agent respond immediately and get this resolved.
