So I cancelled virigin a few days ago as my price was doubling for a very small package and receieved this txt is it a legit one from virgin or a scam txt ?

I personally don't like confirming numbers as it can be easy to spoof the numbers nowadays. If you're ever unsure, the best thing to do is put the phone down and contact us on 150 / 0345 454 1111. 

Based on the information in your post though, it sounds as though the outbound retentions team may have been calling with an offer.
