Hello,
On my virgin media app, it will not let me turn on the virus protection, and it says it cannot find my hub, even though we are connected to the Wi-Fi right now, possible causes of this please?
Thanks.

Ignore the app.
Log into your online VM account
https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings/security
.. Go to Account Settings -> Security and turn it on/off from there.
See if that "sticks".

possible causes of VM Connect failure ...
An iPhone with Apply Relay ( a VPN ) enabled, or any mobile with a VPN enabled.
A Hub 4 where the VM Connect app has corrupted the Hub 4 ( very common mode of failure ) ,
i.e. it's menu at http://192.168.0.1/ no longer works after the password is entered & the Hub 4 needs to be junked replaced.
You recently has a replacement VM Hub delivered, it take several days for the system to catch up and for the Connect app to be begin corrupting the next Hub 4 err working sort of.

I haven’t had a new hub 4 and it isn’t corrupted? I don’t know what you mean by that.

Done this, it doesn’t work.

What Hub do you have?
Call it in as faulty.

Hub 4, it is working fine my virgin media app just can’t find it, even though the connection is absolutely fine, also it won’t let me turn on the parental controls, I think it’s the app.

Hi @Meg3
Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.
Have you got any VPN's on your device at all?

If you try to logon to the Hubs admin console and you get a white screen, it could be the Connect app has “corrupted” the Hub.
