move emails from ntl account to outlook or gmail

I am thinking of leaving virgin media unless they offer me a decent deal i only have an ntl account but will set up an outlook account how do i transfer all my current e-mails to outlook.

Setup a rule to forward all your new emails to Outlook. However you will need to export your old emails in bulk to an archive file and import those into Outlook.

Make sure adequate backup of account mailbox exist and to verify suitability of software for task.

Consider using :

• Official imapsync migration tool ( release 2.264 )
• ⋮
• or similar software

to achieve what you want.
