Virgin.net access for non virgin customers

I am looking to leave virgin media after many years, because the cost of the package is ridiculous and the best deals are only for new customers. Anyway, if I do this and choose,another broadband supplier, can I still use my existing virgin.net email address and off so, how?

No. It will be closed down 90 days after you leave. So you had better start moving your contacts across to a new email account.

FWIW be aware the 90 day period only applies to email address(es) that are linked to your account. To determine if this is the case sign into My Virgin Media, using the account holder's authentication credentials, and look under Account Settings > My Virgin Media
account details > Manage other My Virgin Media accounts.
