E mail accounts after leaving virgin

If I decide to leave Virgin  do my E mails stay active for a period of time or get disconnected straight away cheers

Hi @neil100 

 Your Virgin Media email address will close 90 days after your disconnection date. Make sure you set up a new email account (possibly gmail, outlook etc) and forward anything important to your new email address.

The "official" time is 90 days and I would still work to this timescale.  However my last NTL email was running for over 18 months after I left, and I actually had to specifically request for it to be closed.

As noted by @newapollo   above, just make sure you have exported your old emails to your new mail provider in good time just in case.
