Hi, I am having the exact same problem happy to pay the £35 activation fee but don't want to have extra monthly costs.

    Hi ashellie92,

    Thank you for your post and welcome to our Community Forums. We're here to help.

    If you take out the Stream box then it will come with a basic subscription bundle called Flex as standard. The charge would be £35.00 for the activation of the box and service, and then £5.00 monthly for the basic Flex subscription. If you take out any subscriptions on top of that then there'd be additional costs, subject to those additional subscriptions.

    If you're interested in going ahead with that and making a change to your existing package then it'd be best to discuss and arrange that with our retentions team on 0345 454 1111 (or 150 from a Virgin Media landline) as we don't perform package changes here on our Community Forums.
