VM email locked

Like others, my email was suddenly locked without notice.  I used the standard advice to reset the My VM password.  This was successful but didn't let me see my emails or let me move onto the second stage of setting up the third party credentials.  I phoned VM and as they couldn't fix it they promised a call from a technician.  This was four days ago, and this is an unacceptable complete loss of service.  Please advise, but note the standard change password routine is not working for me.  Thanks

  • I posted earlier but had no response, probably because it was unclear.  This is not part of the virgin.net closure.  I have used VM (and predecessors) broadband for 20+ years. My email account over all that time has been Blueyonder.   Last Saturday, my email was suddenly locked without warning or explanation.  I started to use the standard advice to reset the My VM password.  This was successful for the My VM portal but it still wouldn’t let me open my emails – the account unavailable message comes up – so I couldn’t move onto the second stage of setting up the third party credentials.  I phoned VM - they promised a call back from a technician.  This was five days ago.  I am stuck with no email. Thanks

      I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble accessing your Virgin Media email. At what point is the error message appearing, and what does it say exactly?
