Unable to access ntl emails on my iPhone

Accessing my ntl emails on my iPhone 12 stopped working a couple of days ago with a message asking if I wanted to download app suite. After downloading, it sat in my downloaded inbox simple stating "waiting". I can't open this or the zip file that seemed to download with it to see if I have to run anything. I have tried deleting the VM app and reloading it. Also cleared Safari history and website data. I'm still able to access emails on my iPad and iMac desktop. Any help greatly appreciated as I need to send/receive email on the go.

    coastalchrisIt is unclear from your post what VM app you have deleted as there isn't a VM email app.  How do you usually access ntlemails on your iPhone12 - via a web browser through VM webmail or using a mail app on the phone?

    If using webmail you need to log in with the third party email address for the nltworld email account together with the account password.  If using an email client you need to  use the ntlworld email address as username with the four part app generated password for the account.

      Thanks Graham_A. I deleted the Virgin Media app before downloading it again but I suspect it was irrelevant. To access my ntl emails, I go via Safari to virginmedia.com . I then get the screen "Welcome to My Virgin Media". I then press "sign in" which opens up my account successfully showing my bill etc. Then scroll down to and press "Virgin Media Mail". I then get a message pop up "Do you want to download appsuite". The screen freezes unless I press "download". That then sits in my download box showing "Waiting". I am at a loss but I am very grateful for your help.

        The path that you describe shows that you are using VM webmail to access the ntlworld email address.  I have not come across the download appsuite message so don't know what that might be.  To get your ntlworld emails try going directly to https://mail.virginmedia.com

      Sorry I have suddenly realised I didn't answer your question. The app is "My Virgin Media Account" via the App Store.
