Yes, a guy phoned me yesterday. He took me through an extremely complicated set of instructions which I could not possibly remember to list on here. Bottom line is the account is unblocked. He said Virgin are introducing an extra level of security by making customers use a third party account to sign into My Virgin Media. I can no longer access this account directly via webmail. I have to log into My Virgin Media and access it via that. I asked if other accounts were likely to be blocked in future, particularly my primary account. He said that they quite probably will but to repeat the steps we had taken if that happens. I stand no chance of remembering what I did and am now paranoid about losing my primary account as everyone uses it, NHS, energy company, council tax, TV license, DVLA, insurances, and a whole load of other organisations, not to mention friends and family.
