Phishing emails problem

I have been  receiving scam emails addressed to a different account that is not mine. I have blocked this account and every email that has been sent to me, but keep getting them. It is a completely different email address to mine. How can I stop getting them. I am not tech minded so don’t know where to start.
The email is [REMOVED@ziggo.nl> . Any ideas??

  • Hi malandphil71,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're receiving unwanted phishing emails. Apart from blocking the sender and deleting the email, there isn't really anything we can advise I'm afraid. You can find help on managing spam emails here

Let us know how you get on.

    Thanks,

Blocking an email address simply moves it to your Spam folder. Remove the block to confirm message arrives in your Inbox then consider creating a filter rule, similar to following, in webmail:

This rule permanently deletes any message from richard.branson@ziggo.nl that is delivered to your Inbox

They don’t go into spam folder…just into my bin once I’ve deleted them. I have blocked and deleted them but keep receiving them. Sorry but the answer you have written is complete double Dutch to me as I am not tech minded. I’ll have to ask my sons.

What 用心棒 is trying to explain is setting a rule up for that specific address to move it straight to your deleted folder. Steps on how to do this can be found here.
