Not able to access my email account

I have an old ntl.com email address which is connected to my parents virgin account. I used to have to access it using my Gmail account as a login, and in the last few days when I tried to login I was prompted to create a new ID. I did so with my Gmail account, and it's asking me to connect it to a Virgin Media account. Obviously I can't link it to my parents' account, but I don't have one of my own.

How do I access my email account?

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

    You don't have to link the email itself.

    However, as you're not the account holder of the email, we'd not be able to assist you.

    Can you get the account holder of the Virgin Media account to contact us via the Forums?
