I can't sign in to my email account

My @virgin.net account has stopped allowing me to sign in using my password. Unfortunately I no longer have a Virgin Media account. Is there any way in which I can recover my emails from the account please?

    Thanks for posting on our Community Forums to get help with your Virgin Media email. 

    Unfortunately if your services have been disconnected for 90 days or more, your email address would have been deleted from our system.

    We warn our customers about this during the cancellation process, it's also stated in our Terms & Conditions and on our How to Cancel Page under "What else do I need to do if I’m leaving?"

    Once this has been done there is no way for us to recover the email or the content within the inboxes.

    Sorry if you were not aware of this previously.

      I haven't had a Virgin Media account for over 7 years so I suppose I was expecting it to happen one day!
