Changed PC

I've recently changed my PC (to accommodate Windows11)My VM emails used to go straight into an Outlook account but since the change over I cannot find the Outlook account anywhere (I have got a different Outlook account with Microsoft, which I've found (but never use)

Is there some different server (smtp or something, I don't understand) to find said account. I can't do it but I have a "tecy" friend who will understand. Please can you help, thanks

  • Hi Tom_W1

Thanks to you (and Graham_A) Does this mean I will loose my previous Outlook account (and all that was in it) and start again?

No it doesn't. Outlook is an email client to which you can add multiple email addresses.  Ask the 'tecy' friend you referred to in your opening post to help you.

Thanks for your help and information (Graham and Tom), I now have my Virgin Media account linked with Outlook (through my "tecy" friend!)

  • Hi Rambo1955 thanks for posting although we're sorry to hear of your concerns raised regarding your emails.

As Graham_A has mentioned, you'll need to add your Virgin Media account into Outlook, do you need any assistance in doing this?

If so please let us know and we can guide you accordingly.

    Many thanks

Have you installed Outlook onto your new pc?  You will need to add your VM account to Outlook in order to access the emails that way.
